I love the new Hippo bags! I reuse plastic anyway at home, but these are these are large and durable. Thanks for using them!
Thanks! Even though these are more expensive, they are very strong, and made from natural gas, not oil. Thanks for noticing, and we hope you reuse them at Harvest!
Why do we call our grocery delivery The New Amsterdam Project?
The New Amsterdam Project is a separate entity from Harvest. From what I got from their website, it has to do with the Dutch using bicycles as the prevalent mode of transportation, especially in cities – see their website.
Thanks for the new bike rack! It’s tough enough riding in the rain without having to park in the rain, too!
You are welcome! Since we had outgrown our last bike rack (in Cambridge), we decided to double the space, and put a good part of it under the canopy.
I want to make two comments about the new bulletin board in Jamaica Plain. First, thanks. Second, It’s about time. Sorry to say it that way, but that’s how it is.
You are welcome, and yes, it took longer than it should have – ah, the joy of renting. Enjoy the new board space – and please help us keep it (relatively) neat!
I lost two of my member cards so I am getting new cards. It’s very frustrating that my remaining old card will no longer work, as well as the lost ones that are probably at home and will turn up. We’ll be confused and try to use the wrong one.
Sorry. The cards have bar codes, so when a card is lost or stolen and needs to be replaced, the old card is “turned off” so if someone else finds the card, it cannot be used.
Bravo that you carry Fair Trade chocolate! We will tell everyone we know.
Thanks a lot. Fair Trade products, while not in the mainstream yet, are very popular with our members and shoppers. As the first ever customer of Equal Exchange Fair Trade Coffee, that’s a bandwagon we have been on for a long time. Thanks for your support, and the free advertising!
