Olive suggested that you
put this in the newsletter… “It’s time to refresh your herbal
stock. Throw out last year’s herbs and stock up on new fresh herbs.”
Well, OK. And this is NOT an attempt to sell more stuff. Olive is a very experienced and knowledgeable herbalist who used to teach classes here. If she says it, it makes sense. Thanks, Olive!
Please carry Christmas Trees again this year.
Sorry, Glen – no space. When we had room in the front hall, it was easier.
Tapioca flour? Xanthan gum?
(in Cambridge) We have Xanthan Gum in bulk spices, and tapioca flour on the top shelf of Aisle 3 in the baking section
How about encouraging alternative transportation by putting
an awning over the bicycle area?
That’s a great idea. It’s in the plans we get rid of the tired old awning and get a new one- Thanks – Chris
Ask skilled members to give mini-workshops on topics they
know about – e.g. composting, cooking, etc. In JP the space could
be at the library, or in the summer, on the patio.
We tried classes like we have in Cambridge a couple years ago, but response and attendance was, well, underwhelming. We used a room at Curtis hall, but rarely did anybody show up! Should we try again? Email me!
